Club Med’s lease at their River Valley Road location in Singapore was expiring. The company had been at this address for nine years and wanted to explore the costs and benefits of either relocating to a new site or renewing the existing lease at a more competitive rental rate. Tenant CS was appointed to conduct a stay vs go analysis for Club Med.
The company required a fully-fitted space of 14,000 sq.ft. within the central part of Singapore, close to public transport.
Tenant CS shortlisted a few spaces for Club Med to consider. However, after a round of inspections, Club Med decided to remain at their current location.
Tenant CS was able to negotiate a substantial rental saving and, after analysing Club Med’s space and preferred way of working, recommended an activity-based working (ABW) set up to increase team productivity and improve the quality of the working environment. This concept has now been successfully implemented by Club Med.
