JOB SUMMARY

This role is perfect for a hands-on marketer ready to drive brand awareness and lead generation through diverse marketing strategies. You'll lead the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration to deliver results. We're looking for someone who’s comfortable rolling up their sleeves, wearing many hats, and embracing the opportunity to apply their B2B technical experience in creative ways - while having a bit of fun along the way.

In this role, you'll drive the marketing and brand strategy, managing digital marketing, social media, website content, SEO, and providing event support. You'll also develop and execute marketing plans tailored to specific objectives across various channels and audience segments. Your ability to analyse customer insights, market trends, and campaign performance will be key in refining future strategies.

Note: This is a 12 month parental leave cover contract with potential to extend. We are flexible in offering a full or part time role in either Sydney or Melbourne based on the right candidates preferences. Our current Marketing Manager works 4 days a week.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans focused on brand awareness and lead generation
  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms and collateral
  • Manage digital marketing channels, including social media (LinkedIn), email marketing (Mailchimp), and website (Webflow)
  • Create engaging content for blogs, sales materials, and other online/print collateral
  • Lead SEO efforts and website management to improve online visibility and performance
  • Support event marketing initiatives, from planning to promotion
  • Identify target audiences and tailor marketing strategies to specific segments
  • Work closely with our Data Analyst to identify, source and translate data into compelling narratives
  • Optimise marketing activities using data and trends eg: Google Analytics, factors.ai, Salesforce
  • Design marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Suite
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and measure performance, providing regular updates and adjusting strategies based on insights

Data-driven and detail-oriented, you know how to turn insights into impactful marketing strategies.Your communication skills and eye for design enable you to create engaging content across platforms. You enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders and can adapt to changing business needs while keeping projects on track.

QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRABLE QUALITIES

  • Proven B2B marketing experience with a B2C mindset. Professional services or consulting background is desirable but not required
  • Excellent ability to break down complex ideas into simple, value-driven narratives
  • Stellar track record of driving growth and increasing brand visibility
  • Proficiency with marketing tools: Mailchimp (email marketing), Webflow (website management), Canva/Adobe Suite (design), Salesforce (CRM), and data analysis tools (Google Analytics, factors.ai etc)
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience in managing LinkedIn company pages and ads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new marketing platforms, tools, and technologies eg: AI, no-code automation
